I’ve never liked the pressure of a new year beginning on 1st January. It’s cold, it’s dark, invariably you are ill due to a virus or a bottle of vodka consumed the night before. You’ve possibly spent far too much of the previous fortnight in some state of over-consumption, having spent or eaten too much; you start the new year feeling bad.
A late August birthday meant my new year logically coincided with going back to school – compensated by an excuse to buy new stationery.
Those who have been keeping up to speed on what we’ve been up to at Ozone Creative will know that this gorgeous summer – we have to admit – we have mostly been working on our tans. So, we’re starting the new year rested and boosted by vitamin D and soon to move to Rye – with the promise of fast broadband and cosy pubs for the winter. We will continue to divide our time between that part of East Sussex and Tunbridge Wells, where still most of our loveliest clients are based.
On the few occasions when cloud interrupted our blue sky thinking, we finally created and launched our website. It’s still a work in progress, as all websites should be… constantly updated for the benefit of both visitors and Google. As always with own marketing efforts, it sat on the back burner behind client work for a while and took longer to launch than hoped. Back in the sunshine, we were philisophical about this and took comfort from a Douglas Adams quote: “I love deadlines. I like the whooshing sound they make as they fly by.”
Anyhow, now it’s up there – please take a look and get in touch if you think we may be able to help you. In the meantime, Ziggy and I wish you a happy new (school) year. 😉 G x
